Self-exclusion: a long break that cannot be cut short
When a short pause is not enough, self-exclusion closes your account to play for six months or more. How it works, what it does and does not stop, and why it cannot be undone early.

What it is
Self-exclusion is a break you choose for six months or more. For its whole length you cannot deposit or buy tickets, and your account will not send you marketing. You choose the length, and it starts the moment you confirm.
What it does not stop
You can still sign in to see your history and you can still withdraw your balance at any time. Self-exclusion is there to stop play, never to hold your money. Many people choose to withdraw everything as soon as it starts.
Why it cannot be shortened
Once set, self-exclusion cannot be ended early by you, by our support team or by anybody else, until the date you chose. That can feel strict, but it is what makes it work: a break that could be talked out of in a difficult moment would not be a break.
Setting it up
Choose Self-exclusion in Responsible play, pick the length and confirm. If you would rather not do it yourself, message support and we will walk you through it, without asking why. If you are unsure whether you need it, choosing it is rarely the wrong decision.
